About Us.

The ECOZIP Kaikoura Adventure Race is brought to you by the Core Team of Bin Kennedy (Event Coordinator), Tim Farrant (Race Director), and Tane Cambridge (Race Director), with the help of a dedicated team predominantly from the local community as well as our Marlborough, Canterbury, and Dunedin crew. Our team of passionate volunteers, along with experienced adventure racers and course designers Tane Cambridge and Tim Farrant, are committed to delivering an exceptional event. 
We feel incredibly fortunate to have the privilege of hosting our events in some of the most breathtaking privately owned and protected backcountry in New Zealand, and it is extremely satisfying that proceeds from the event go back to numerous community groups within the Kaikoura Community.  We also feel very grateful to have such a great bunch of competitors that come back year after year.
